Henderson & Taylor Emergency Response
June 3rd, 2011

echo_newHenderson and Taylor’s Engineers worked through the night to stop a collapsed sewer ruining the first day of the Southend Airshow.

Southend Council contacted Henderson and Taylor and we swung into action at about 5pm on Firday 27th May when cracks appeared in the eastbound carriageway of the A127 between Progress Road and Bellhouse Lane.

The problem was traced to a sewer beneath the road which had caved in, forcing our engineers to close one lane to start repairs.

The road was reopened at 7am this morning.
