The school needed new more effective car parking space to ease the car parking in the residential streets. The car park also needed to be built within the summer break time frame, with the design factoring the special needs of the school.
Project description: Henderson & Taylor, used our Early Contractor involvment to design and build the car park and surrounding footpaths and roads to improve the flow of traffic and parking availability for Castedon school. The project was completed in budget and on time for the school to re-open in September with the new car park, roads and footpaths in place.
Henderson and Taylor, have been appointed by Thurrock Borough Council to maintain all of the Highways, Footpaths, Drainage schemes and Infrastructure Network in general. This requires that we respond to the Thurrock’s Highways engineers instructions pertaining to all drainage, footpath and highway maintenance problems, rapidly identifying solutions to whatever problem has arisen. This has ranged from a collapsed drain to excavating a carriageway and replacing failed road construction. We also construct new drainage schemes, footpaths and highway sections.
