The Council wanted to refurbish the Children’s play area and bring in new equipment, to rejuvenate a dilapidated park area.
Project description: Henderson & Taylor, were instructed to excavate the existing dilapidated asphalt area and reconstruct with a new type 1 sub base and base course and wearing course.
Services Provided
- Excavation and Removal of spoilt materials
- Installation of a geo textile membrane, to prevent contamination of the type one sub base from the soil.
- The supply, lay and compaction of type 1 sub base
- Supply, lay and compaction of a 20mm dense base course
- Supply, lay and compaction of a 6mm dense wearing course
